tama sir. 2k paints are known for its quality talaga. pero add ko lang. di sya kasiguraduhan na kikintab. malaki pa din ang factor ng pintor.
Last edited by LexTer; August 12th, 2008 at 01:17 AM.

qualty materials,casa,a good shop,
if it had been like to this i enumerated.
it will turn out just like you described it sir.
1.maybe its cheaply painted
2.maybe its rushed
3.poor preparation kahit na good materials
4.lmited painter skill and knowledge
HTH
urethane or acrylic,
it all boils down hot the shop handles the pintor/quality

sir Innova_Boy* There a great possibility it has lack of curing time at the same time small amount of topcoat was applied.. if they try to make some liha again plus buffing, lalong mawawala yung topcoat..
sobrang tagal naman ng 45 days.. usually 5 days is the maximum pag hindi oven bake or yung mainit talaga para kapit yung pintura and topcoat.. pero 45 days grabe na yun.

September 6th, 2008 04:34 AM #18Mga bossing pasali naman. I was a little bit worried when I read this thread. I was thinking hindi kaya mangyari sakin yung nangyari ke Innova Boy. So I did what the owner of the shop told me. There, I was watching while the painter wet sand the car. In fact super glossy yung part na pininturahan nila. The shop owner told me that in their shop they only use polyurethane paint. My question is hindi kaya minadali yung trabaho? Mangyari rin kaya sakin yung nangyari ke InnovaBoy na after a week hindi na kasingganda yung paint when I first saw it? TIA.

"sir we can buff that out" is the best, most tired excuse of a sucky painter
if you are a good painter, the finish will look beautiful right after it dries. yes, you can buff out any minor imperfections, but it's better to do it right the first time, no?
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
