The top-down washing is correct and is common sense talaga since water flows downwards, meaning the water you used to pre-soak the car's roof will drip down to the bottom sides anyway...

As for where to buy, most mall stuff are cheap already.. a decent wheel brush should land around 300, a wash mit between 200-300 a good chamois around 500 bucks... etc...

Just make sure na hindi mainit yung surface nung car. Mahirap magtanggal ng water marks pag natuyan ng tubig ang pintura lalo na pag dark colored ang sasakyan.

    Question...Question lang, mga Bros...

Ang car shampoo ba nakaka-strip ng wax?
I'm talking about the ordinary car shampoos
available over the counter like Polyglaze

I suggest to wash the wheels and lower panels first with a separate sponge or washmitt, then do the top to bottom wash. This ensures that you don't contaminate your washmitt or sponge with brake dust and other heavy grunge from the wheels and lower panels.

polyglaze? yup, oks yun... doesn't remove the wax, just follow the recommended ratio. if you want to strip off the wax, double the amount of the shampoo.

pressure? basta wag masyadong malakas! just enough to remove some of the dirt... talagang hindi makukuha ng tubig lang ang dumi...

Kaya pala most of the water marks are on the hood. Kitang-kita kasi liberty blue ang color ng XTO ko.

Sa mga experts, may pag-asa pa ba matanggal ang mga water marks na ito? If yes, paano po?

    Thanks.
