    btw kimpoy wats wrong w/ my paint naman if may butas butas...?( punta ka sa fort sa sunday?? what car dadala mo?? para pakita ko... ehehhe... parang may pores... ndi halata but nakaka asar!! heheh...

    tanong lang...pwede bang tapalan ng 2k type paint ang 1k type paint? pasensya na, wala kasi akong masyadong alam sa paint e... at kung sakaling pwede, magkano kaya aabutin kung papa-tapalan ko yung bumpers ko?

    Bro are you the same "kimpoy" of pinoydvd? :?::?:

    Tanong din pre, how much would it cost me for a washover for a Mazda Astina, preferred paint ko anzhal. How long would it take them to finish the job?

    I asked around and the cheapest offer i got is 23k and it would take them more at least 3 weeks daw. ok na ba yun?

    1st, welcome to tsikot!
    2nd lay off the "master" thing, sa susunod di na kita sasagutin he..he

    23K for 2k washover is in the range

    -just make sure they use anz all the way pati thinners
    some shops kasi they use premium acrylic thinner on anz primers
    (pede naman kaso kung labor & materials contract insist on this)
    -ask also kung magkno kung labor lang then if you want ikaw na lang bumili ng
    materials (siyempre special discount kung sa kin ka bibili may pakain pa kaso
    pampanga ako eh)
    -do it now magtataas ang price ng paints (thinners nagtaas na)

    BTW
    na detailed na ba yang car mo?
    have theveed check it out first baka naman pede pa i detail
    malayo ang 23K sa 6K di ba theveed?
    sayang din ang 17K ilang dvds na yun

    Mine is a paj gen 2, how much kaya?

    When kaya ang increase ng paints? Plan ko kasi march pa.

    Thanks for the prompt reply! :D

    Napasok ko na yung Astina and i was able to check the materials also, puro anz naman ang binili nila. Mukhang ok naman yung shop, kasabay ko sa shop nila na nagpa-washover ay ECLIPSE and EVOLUTION. Post ko yung pics sa pinoydvd. 8)

    Yung Altis naman merong nang sideskirts, fog lamps, changer, ampli and the front and rear speakers pinalitan na rin. Mags naman next project ko. Cheers! :D

    patanong na din. i'm planning to have my car ('96 civic) washed over and i was wondering kung okay talaga ang "the wet look?" honestly, hindi ako bilib sa mga show car ng mga paintshops kasi binuhusan talaga yun ng oras at tiyaga ng may-ari ng shop (kasi nga show car yun). kadalasan, ilang buwan tinrabaho yun (o baka kalahating taon pa). pwede kayang labor lang sa "the wet look" tapos ako na magdadala ng paint? or what about "the ultimate paint shop" (aka hannah) sa may vito cruz ext (sa may palanan makati)? any news on this shop? kapag may oven, talaga bang kahit bumabagyo e pwede pinturahan ang kotse? thanks in advance

    actualy, if you ask my honest opinion, magaling talaga pinoy, kahit in the middle of the road nag pipintura sila e, our paint booth is closed, but not an oven, our purpose is clean and safe from dust, yun naman ang kalaban natin dito sa pinas.

    its hot already and at the same time, using 2k based paints, are ordinarily quick dry.

    in my point of view, its all in the materials and preparation, kahit saan kayo pagawa, just make sure may waranty.

    in fairness, the above mentioned shops have done a lot to get where they are right now, i dont think they will waiste that much effort in making a name, and just putting it aside to make an extra buck. for sure maayos din sila gumawa.

    its a free country, hindi din ako nag compete sa iba shops, i'm actually competing with myself, to make our sevice better.

    ask ko lang kung ok lng ba magpa-repaint ako from Anzahl(paint ng oto ko ngaun) to let's say dupont or PPG?ska 2nog lata pa rin ba ang car pag twice na na-repaint?tnx
