Ito gamit ko, hindi sya mabula pero madulas sya. Shiny agad pero magaspang if you touch it kaya i always spray Optimum gloss enhancer after every wash.

If using hair shampoo works for you and your car, then keep using it. It will only affect your car and one else's.

Detailing enthusiasts that I personally know, who avoids swirls and has glossy paint, use proper car shampoo and chemicals. They put effort in polishing and waxing their paint and would avoid undoing the hard work that they've done and will certainly not use hair shampoo on their vehicle.

BTT: Matagal nako naghahanap nyang microtex sa sachet...Mas tipid ako pag yan gamit ko...sa isang pack of two, kaya ko gamitin in 4 carwash...so 2.50 lang per wash...Mas mura sa hair shampoo..

yung iba kasi sabi mawawala daw yung protective coatings ng paint...well the post explained it all.

anyways, ginamit ko lang yung hair shampoo kapag emergency o naubos na yung car shampoo talaga, malinis lang ba. worth the savings? nope. nagalit pa nga sa akin si misis

Have you tried this formula 1 shampoo? It has carnauba wax shines as it washes "daw" according to the ace hardware rep sales. Ito daw ang best seller nilang car shampoo. I've been using microtex shampoo, just wondering how does it compare to formula 1 shampoo??

basically same lang, may wax lang yung isa, sort of all in one kaya parang makintab na rin pagkatapos ng washing. better to apply a good wax pa rin para maganda protection

if you plan to do full paint correction, you need to strip the paint with existing wax prior to polishing so advisable to use yung shampoo lang. kapag kasi may wax pa yung paint, hindi ma-maximize effect nung polishing compound...
