mga sir ok lang po ba punasan ng WD-40 yung wiper blade. may ng-advice ksi skin ng WD-40 ilagay ko sa wiper dahil prang sticky sya pag-ginagamit during rainy season. the car is only 8mos old and its bought brand new. ano po kya problem nun nilagyan ko ng ng shampoo yung wiper washer reservoir pero after 5 continous wipes prang sticky ulit sya so I keep on spraying the wiper washer every time umiingay un blade... thanks.

no, penetrating oil yan, pag umulan dudulas nga pero baka magkaroon ng oil stains sa windshield mo.

baka worn out na wiper blade mo due to rainy season, palitan mo nalang, ung mga silicon wiper blades ata may nagsabi ok daw pero may kamahalan lang. if in doubt, go for oem Denso wiper blades, bosch tropical wiper blades or Wurth

    1. Your windshield might be pitted.
    2. Your wiper blades, although 8 months old, may have been under the sun for too long.
    3. WD-40 is not recommended for wipers. It will oil your windshield.
    4. BlueBimmer hit the nail on the head. Get new ones.

    Be safe.

Try wiping it with "Armor All orig protectant" instead of wd-40, works for me. But before that, nilinis ko muna yung windshield ng lacquer thinner with a soft&clean cotton cloth, then banlaw with a detergent soap and water. Replacing the wipers is my last option, sayang kasi, same thing happend to my one yr old car, its 2 yrs old na next month and im still using the orig NWB wipers.

As many here might already now..WD-40 is a de-greaser. It has some substance which is not compatible with most plastics materials and makes the material lose luster and brittle over time. Since wiper blades are exposed to the sun most of the time, this accelerates the process.

i strongly suggest na wag mo lagyan ng shampoo yung water sa wiper washer reservoir. ganito lang yan, try mo magsabon ng kamay pero wag mo hugasan ng tubig, natutuyo at madikit.. kaya most probably ganun nangyari sa wiperblades at windshield mo, plus naaarawan pa yan kaya lalo natutuyo. plain water lang.. rain away is a solution, pahid mo lang sa windshield then wipe with a soft cloth hanggang mawala yung haze dudulas ulit yan or better yet try using the excel shampoo, local lang to pero from my exp daig pa nito ang anti-water shampoos na ibang brand di lang sa salamin pati sa buong kotse.

may windshield washer solution naman,e... ko, i use joy, but 1/4 teaspoon lang or yung natirang car shampoo...then hose with water yun, for a 2 liter container pag walang pambili ng washer solution...

ko, pag nakapark, i up my wipers lalo na kung parked ako under the sun, para di masyado lumutong ang blades.. i opted to buy refills kasi hirap maghanap ng 24"(driver) 13.5"(passenger) and 16"(rear) na wiper blades na twin-srcew ang kasamang adaptor... mahigit 1000pesos naman yung NWB sa concord (3piece set for my lite)

di kaya magbara ang wiper nozzle pag may sabon? pag may budget, washer fluid(yung blue). mahirap yung may sabon, ang pangit tignan pag natuyo.mas ok pa tap water.

anyway yeah don't use wd40 sa wiper blades. parang condom yan, pwedeng masira pag malagyan ng oil.

What I do is dilute about 5 drops of Joy or Axion Dishwashing liquid on the wiper washer reservoir ONLY during the rainy season kse pag nadumihan or natalsikan ng mud while driving and raining, madaling matanggal plus it adds to the effectiveness of clearing the windshield while raining. I use plain water otherwise (e.g. summer)
