Good day mga sirs. Ano mas maganda for our cars when it comes to having it waxed by detailing shops, by hand or by using an orbital buffer? May dalawang option kasi ako sa shops here in QC, yung isa wash and wax for around 1k, using an orbital buffer. Yung isa naman, half the price pero by hand daw ang wax.

wax application is normally by hand with a wax pad, pinapahid lang yan. buffing can be done also by hand or using a polisher. mas madali i buff by hand with a microfiber towel. pwede rin gamitan ng polisher pero bihira ginagawa yan, by hand pa rin after mai buff. 1k i think for wash and wax is quite expensive, not unless your vehicle is the large type

Yes sir, large vehicle. Yung isang shop, wash and wax lang, but using a machine buffer for the application. Yung isa, around 800 for complete wash (underwash, body and engine wash) tapos 500 daw for wax, pero by hand.

wax application is better to do by hand to ensure na mapahidan ng wax lahat ng panel. the buffing or polishing part can be done either by hand or by using a polisher. ok na yan sir kung large vehicle pala and i assumed sa isang reputable carwash/detailing shop yan...

Hand for me. I need to feel the body when I apply wax and buff. I'd know when it's time to clay pag magalasgas na.

Yeah, lahat nilalagyan ko pati headlights, chrome grille, mags, except the black plastic trims.

I'm using Meguiar's Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax, not that expensive and very easy to apply and buff.
