Want to study Auto-Detailing

Is there a shop or school that offers classes for Auto-detailing?

I tried searching the forums but can't find any.

Processes are not that difficult to learn actually, but assessing what to do to solve a particular problem, choosing the right method and products takes experience and not a class-room or teacher-student setting to get it right.

If you have fun doing it, you'll learn, eventually.

thanks for the input. i know experience is the best teacher but i was hoping to get a formal lesson kahit basic lang then apply and explore.

After ko din sana mag karoon ng certificate.. i'm planning to have this as a part time job when i move to US

But yeah, i'll start of with threads.. baka lang may alam kayong school..

meron atang program ang meguiars sa Kamias, try to inquire at their shop. Basics of using a Rotary etc.

Use your car as a canvass and enjoy the results.

Sa internet din ako natuto sa basics of detailing, pero di na ako bumili ng mga professional tools like a Rotary ang mahal kasi hehe.

Tama the best is experience. bili ka wax iwax mo auto mo, then subukan mo yung style ng pahid sa different sections ng auto mo then compare. pag naubos mo yung binili mo bili ka ibang brand.

sirs, if i may join this discussion... a couple of years ago a friend of mine has inquired in meguiar's kamias. the "tuition fee" is a bit costly that is why they encourage you to bring 3 friends so a class would involve about 4 people plus one should bring a car as the canvass. if my memory serves me right the cost is 3K per person. and would take about 5 days. Naalala ko before a thread in Pinasdetailing veed doing a side by side comparo between waxes. Iniwan ata sa labas yung oto exposed to the elements. Torture test kung baga hehe
