Don't chop your springs. Granted, when done correctly, there's no problem, but it's so easy to mess the job up. Better to get lowering springs. Lowering springs make up for reduced travel with stiffer spring rates, so you won't bottom out the car as much

Fifteen or sixteen inch ROTAs are pretty good, either almost as light or lighter than stock. If you go up to 17's, say goodbye to your fuel efficiency... not to mention riding comfort. BUt if you really want them, go ahead.

Sabi ko naman, when it's done correctly, okay lang... but there is the possibility of damage. Have a friend on cut springs, no problems. My brother? Busted bushings in six months because there wasn't enough spring travel left to cushion them from bumps on the road.

It's always a crapshoot. And of course, those colored coils look much nicer than stock, too. Not to say that damage isn't possible with lowerig springs. If the springs are too stiff, instead of busted bushings, you may get busted shocks... oops.

Either way, lowering of any kind is best done with a concurrent shock upgrade, to make sure that your suspension system works perfectly.
