    saw this vid in another forum. not sure if its here posted already.




    I thought we detailing geeks in tsikot are sick detailing freaks. looks like someone had it worse.

    6k british pound wax... can you imagine that? applied by hand, literally!

    it takes me 4 hours to detail a car inside and out if the paint is in good condition, however it takes me a total of 36-48 hours (minus the time not working on the car) to restore a fully oxidized single stage paint...

    hand applied wax? hmmm... not so sure about that since our skin secretes oil that might contaminate the wax...

    hehehe kawawa naman yung auto yan.. nakabilad pa sa araw habang hinuhugasan.. yikes.

    I remember coming upon sa waxes that require hand-application. (yung tipong the warmth from your hand will melt the wax while applying it.. asus!) :charot:

    I'd bet that wax contains much less oil than the typical wax that can be had off the shelf, otherwise it won't last ~6 months like what was mentioned in the video...

    But dang, if I had some of the tools that guy has, 5,000/car?! :insomnia: wow...

    and I bet that kind of wax wouldn't last that long with our climate here sa Pinas. even sealants wouldn't last that long...

    one car wash for 450K pesos, wow ang mahal, bawi na yon ibinili nya ng £6000 ng wax.

    Let me put it this way.

    He purely serves exotics, needless to say, the owners are not concerned with cost.

    These cars spend very few moments in harsh weather, whatever he applies will work well.

    Niche Market

    Much like how dumb it is for poor people to see folks spending 150 bucks for a cup of coffee.
