Narealize ko lang, Im just in the phase na "bago pa kasi" kaya OA sa OC. Parang bagong cellphone lang, dahan dahan nilalapag pero after a while hinahagis na lang. not sure kung ako lang dumadaan sa ganitong stage kaya pagpasensyahan nyo na. Sakyan na lang kung masasakyan.

One quick downpour on NLEX and your squeaky clean car is gone.

I travel the North every week and the longest I've kept my car clean is 3 days. Either it rains or the dust is just too much.

Futile IMO. I used to care about swirlmarks, but I realized if anyone travels as much as I do (4,000 km a month), it's impossible to keep the car absolutely swirl-free.

And for most people, my car still looks better than an immaculately clean car with stock rims. So detailing is really an exercise in futility for me.

you die a little if you get a scratch... lol

if your car is waxed properly (cured)... the car wash outside will not damage the top coat 🤠

Share lang din. Last month, I did a full exterior detailing to the car for 1 whole day. The next day, we traveled to San Fernando, Pampanga. It rained and some roads in Pampanga are under construction. Ending: the car got really dirty in just 1 hour.

When traveling, it is really hard to keep your car clean. Many wrong things could happen.

Dumaan din ako sa time na yan that I want my car clean 24/7 but really not practical. Now, I just wash my car once a week. I wax it when needed.

    Exactly.

About the only place in your car that you have control over, as far as cleanliness is concerned, is the interior. I prefer a clean interior 100x more than a clean exterior.

But I do. Two of them, 14 and 8 y/o, respectively. Even earlier in their childhood, I've taught them to keep the interior clean, fresh and tidy. No food and drinks allowed inside unless I give them permission. But it includes a condition that they don't spill anything in the car. The last thing I need is a colony of ants thriving off of spilled food.

Of course, there's still the occasional candy wrapper or trash bits wedged in the seats, door pockets or on the floor, but they're all the dry kind... nothing that a monthly vacuuming can't handle.

Same here ... but absolutely no eating inside the vehicle ... no picking nose nor brushing of hair either ... and they are supposed to clap their shoes if they are dirty or muddy ...

Unfortunately my wife is not like that... the car is an extension of the dining table and the living room. Just imagine the carnage in the car she is using 5x a week with our 5 year old and 7 month old boys as her passengers.
I just accepted it, she is a great wife... di lang talaga sa interior ng sasakyan.

I was careful with my dad's car as a kid because I help him clean it. He said I can't have my own car if I don't know how to keep it clean. He started me early on car care hahaha

Bring the ff: spray bottle filled with water, quick detailer, bundles of microfiber cloths.
