Well, if chrome trimmings are in tip top condition, nothing beats a black merc.

White works well as well (lotsa 'w's there hehe)...

I'd stick to those 2 only... For big benzes, black is unquestionable hehe.

With my detailing skills, black is out of the question. hehehe. Not very enthusiastic about white either as that is the W126's color (white on gray)

The W123 is painted the same dark blue as the current Toyota Corolla Altis.

Still debating whether to go mono or two tone (between body and roof).

    All inputs are appreciated. Thanks!

Btw theveed, ganda ng clean up job na ginawa ng Big Bert's dun sa Picanto after I had the power locks and alarm installed. Ok din yung etching. Umorder na ko para dun sa W123. Oops, OT.

Ah kumuha ka Picanto? ayus ah..

As for the Benz, gagamitin mo ba lagi? Patopcoat mo ng whatever is the hardest clearcoat your painter has para menos swirls kung itim...

The contrast of chrome and black is simply too gorgeous...

Doc, maganda yung black sa Merc, like what veed said get the hardest clearcoat to minimize swirls.

Kung tamad mag detail, go silver or white. But black talaga ang bagay :D

for that particular car, black would be my choice. pero pareho yata tayo ng detailing skills, so silver na lang (mono), it would still look nice, tsaka hindi pa masyadong miinit.

    Pale green/olive?

Pero hindi, black talaga pag ganyan kaluma. Elegante.

Of course you must complete the look with a bowler hat and that era's suit style.
