cool ba maglagay ng euro-style plates sa likod ng LTO plates? saan nakakabili nito and how much? are they ready-made or pasadya?

depends on your taste. usually, it costs 1,000 to 1,500 up sa mga auto accessory shops. they either come in ready-made or if you want, pwede ring pasadya.

Nagkalat na sa Banawe made to order kung ano gusto mong nakasulat. But mind you, these plates are not legal in place of your existing LTO plates. Just for garnish and show only.

and be sure na at least euro look oto mo (if not european car)
before you use euro plates. IMHO pangit naman tingnan kung JDM setup ng ride mo tapos Euro plates

thanks for all your replies. i'll check out the auto accessory shops. i'm gonna use it just for garnish on our 1999 320i kasi yung license plate holder nya sa harap is for the euro plates.. parang mas maganda kasi tignan pag may nakalagay na euro plate sa likod ng LTO plate kesa yung plain black lang tapos LTO plate na. siguro ok lang kahit hindi na ready-made kasi yung last character na lang siguro ang makikita pag nakapatong na yung LTO plate.

i got mine at l & c sa white plains. 3000 a pair. ready made na to and i ges its an authentic euro plate (d shop only sells legit european car accessories), though not street legal, d plate itself is made of thick metal and reflective paint is used on d whole plate and characters (not reflective tape). it also comes with german validation stickers for both plates

Depends on your taste... me personally parang trying hard, even if you have a European car. Why? Wala naman kasi tayo sa Europe e. By definition, parang wannabe lumalabas.

Yung W124 namin hindi na namin tinanggal yung German plates when it arrived here. Pinatungan na lang namin. Authentic Euro. Hehehe.

you can found some sa tiangge everywhere (e.g. greenhills - i saw some two weeks ago), 2k-2.4k/pair, same as momoyster described: used, authentic euro plates, metal and paint, carved. i bought mine sa tiangge sa eastwood libis last xmas, isa lang binili ko panglikod P750 only, yep, bargain indeed! pagbalik ko the next day, ubos na.

Personally I feel that euro plates dati usong uso and add porma to the car. I even used to have a corolla with euro plares pang ek ek ko lang.
Now I realized that a euro car with euro plates mean that it was brought to the philippines 2nd hand or surplus which doesnt add to the prestige of driving a euro car. Most euro car brought in brand new dont have any plates attached. Check out the ADB cars no euro plates. Thus presence euro plates in a euro car betray its humble orgins.

Sayang naman pag brand new bili mo sa euro car mo tapos naka euro plates. Parang Ibig sabihin registered na abroad and brought in second hand.

We kept the original license plates because our vehicle was imported used from Germany and we are proud of its heritage. Hindi katulad ng mga local models na tadtad ng chrome at mga borloloys, ours is actually a base model. Monochromatic, few power features, etc. Simpleng simple ika nga.
