meron bang nag re repair ng ganito for just a small spot?
    pero d halata dapat.

    q.c. area.

thats going to be a problem, kase usually per panel talaga yan, pero you can actually do a DIY on that, for light, not deep scratches, what i did was i used a wet sandpaper #1000, rub it to the affected area, make sure you keep the paper as wet a possible doing several dips on to the water while rubbing on the scratched area, once you notice that the surface is already smooth, then let it dry and wipe with clean cloth, and then apply wax whatever wax you usually use for your car or polish several times until the color of the affected area will suit in to the original color of your car..polish to a high glossy look..repeat if necessary.

That's what they usually do from car paint shops if you only need rubbing without repainting, they just rub the affected area, splash a little water and put on wax and buff and WALAAAA!!!! save more money...

For deep scratches and small holes, you can look for a car paint or spray, spray it on to a paper, use a toothpick and dip the tip of the toothpick on to the paint and fill the area that is affected on to the body of your car until they come equally clean to look at. Basically touching up paint on the affected area. That saves you a lot of money.

before you go crazy with wet sanding, see if you can hang your fingernail into the scratch. kung sumabit yung fingernail mo, it's too deep to sand/buff out and if you try, you will end up burning the paint off the area long before you get the scratch out.

if that's the case, then just do the touchup paint routine as the previous poster advised.

the complete procedures are compounding, polishing and finishing with the surface with your favorite wax or sealant. normally if the vehicle has very fine swirls, you can probably omit compounding and go directly to polishing.

in your case, sabi mo di na makaya ng compound na mas abrasive, touch up na lang then tsaka mo umpisahan ng step one (compounding) para pumantay then proceed to step 2 and 3. wala na eh ang detailing kasi naman is basically hiding those scratches and swirls kaya dapat alaga sa polish and wax / sealant.

No. Wax does not remove scratches. Products like scratch removers do, they often have micro abrasives that will act like very, very, very fine sand paper on the paint surface but you won't feel it with your fingertips because the products will be in liquid form.

The effectiveness of certain products also depend on the deepness of the scratch. If remaining paint is left at the deepest part of the scratch (like when it hasn't reached the primer yet) then they should work. But if the primer is reached, or even bare metal, then you need to touch it up instead.

Technically speaking, scratch removers make the paint look more presentable, so in essence they're not harmful. But literally speaking, since scratch removers are very fine abrasives, if you inadvertently used it too much on one spot, you can remove enough paint to be noticeable. So the key to using scratch removers is to very, very gradually work the scratches out using firm, even pressure on the paint surface.
