Scratches on Unpainted Bumper

Some kid doodled and wrote his frigging name ("JEPOY"!) on the front bumper of my Honda CR-V (03 model) while it was parked outside our house. The scratches are pretty deep (you can spell out the name using your fingertips with your eyes closed).

Short of repainting the whole bumper (and the back and all the black trimmings), what are my options? Can these still be rubbed or polished off?

Any ideas will help. TIA.

Your best solution is simply to paint the bumper. your choice of black or body color.
