fyi: i had the same spray-on wurth sound deadening on the roof and doors. (the spray-on at the doors were applied to the outer door shell.) thereafter, jing also applied wurth sound deadening sheets onto the entire cabin floor and the inner door shell of all four doors. here's the thing, my sound system isn't exactly what many would like. its just one 4-ch amplifier driving both front satellites (quart) and both rear coaxes (ryan audio). i wanted the sound deadening for a quiet ride. the ride's pretty quiet (except for the stupid muffler - see my thread on workshop) but there's still some traffic noise getting into the cabin which i suspect is because of the lack of sound deadening from the glass. but on the expressway, the ride's really quiet which is really really good. (but i have got to really find a really nice and quiet muffler.)

Nice, how much did it cost? labor + materials. Am planning to have my front door deadened, my primary purpose is to lessen the vibrations of the panels when the midbass hits. lets see what happens

the wurth sheets go for about 3K per pack of 6 sheets (can't remember exact price at the moment). you're going to need just 1 pack per 2 doors (4 doors will need 2 packs). the flooring will need about 2 packs (actually around 1 1/2 packs lang ang flooring kaya alangan sa isang pack). its going to have a really big impact if you've got a great sound system. also helps in drowning out the road noise. also, it somehow helps the a/c system since the thing is basically made of asbestos.

the dark brown W123 with all the sound deadening looks like its a show car. incredible.

Hmmmm, Im planning on having this procedure done to my car but I was quite alarmed with this info on asbestos,

AFAIK, Asbestos used to be used on house roofings but was stopped and banned because it was discovered na it was cancerous and masama pa sa environment,

as far as i know...

sa "stripped to metal," tatanggalin ang factory primer.

sa "hilamos" hindi tatanggalin ang factory primer. although during prepping, habang sina-sandpaper, may mga areas sa katawan na halos aabot na sa metal. but for all intents and purposes, hindi nila sasadyain tanggalin ang primer.

for both cases, kadalasan, kelangan pa din spray-an ng primer ang kotse para mas maganda ang kapit ng base coat.

gagawin ang "interior repainting" kapag plano mo mag-change color, or kung metikuloso ka talaga sa pagpintura ng kotse at gusto mong makintab pati interior ng kotse. kadalasang ginagawa ito sa mga nag-re-restore ng mga sasakyan.

I don't think asbestos based ang Wurth, pretty much wala nang insulation products na consumer item ang gawa sa asbestos in Europe and US.

After looking around for budget but good hilamos, i have tried the car shop along quirino ave. for revo unit.

the hood is scrape to metal kc meron cracked sya

the amount is reasonable like 16k for nippon nax paint kasama interior and engine bay kc change color eh.

for those that are interested PM me. the owner is also subcontractor sa mga dealer.

the unit will be ready by end of week of will post sample pic.
