i usually drive my car under the shade of the mrt/lrt when it's sunny para mas malamig.

pero since medyo umuulan/umaambon lately, when you're running under these structures, may mga tumutulo. i don't if they are just excess rainwater or may halo na oil(?) or something.

does anybody know what they are and if they affect the car's paint?

    thanks.

wala (pa) naman. i just wanted to know baka kasi may effect. i dunno if yung tumutulo is just plain rainwater or baka nahahaluan na siempre ng kung ano galing from the trains.

Worst thing that can happen is not just oil or water are splashed out, but also some solids like gravel stones, pebbles, rocks, etc. that can all mar the paint on your car, or worst leave a nasty dent.

As for dirty water and oils, just have the car washed as soon as you can after, have it cleaned and detailed (clayed too perhaps) if you feel anal about it. Also try not to go through them often. There's a reason why water can erode the land in time.
