Most tire/wheel shops have a big selection of ROTA mags. You just have to look around. In the south, Minerva (Alabang, Binan) has quite a few, in Q.C. or the Banaue area, almost every other wheel shop carries the current ROTA line-up. For some models, though, you have to order, as ROTA's books are filled due to increasing demand in the US.

hehe... mahal naman talaga ang dubshop.

Tumaas na yung price ng brand new na ROTA, ha. 17k na yung mga bagong 15", 22-25k ang mga 16", 25k+ ang mga 17". Noong 2002, nung bumili ako ng 15", 10-13k lang...

Hmm... if I may take the opportunity na rin. Any clues kung san maraming available na segunda mano na Rota? Kakacanvass ko lang kasi sa Evangelista kahapon at wala gaano. Normal na nakita ko eh ung mga Concept One at iba pang brand na may kamahalan na.

Rota's come a long way in terms of workmanship and durability. In terms of price, well, they've added on through the years as well. But they're still cheaper than Concept Ones. Still a lot of value for money.

If you're gonna look for 2nd hand Rotas along Evangelista, chambahan talaga yan. So good luck

Durability-wise, I've heard a lot of bad things in the past... but nowadays, they're about par with anyone else.

Basically, the only way you'll bend a ROTA nowadays is by driving like a monkey... no rim, no matter how expensive or strong, will stand up to harsh abuse on Philippine roads while wearing rubber-band thin tires.

You can have lightness, strength and affordability... just not in equal amounts. For ROTA's motorsports rims, you trade off one thing for another... besides, their most hardcore lightweights carry a reminder not to exceed the load limit for the wheel.
