    Recently acquired a used 2007 crv with faded spots on the fender and bumper. By the looks of it, sun damage caused the paint to fade. Can rubbing compound restore the color? Im afraid i might damage it more if i will use rubbing compound and buffing machine. Any professional tips on how to restore faded paint

    Post picture here.

    Better yet, bring your car to a detailing shop and ask for professional opinion. They can easily tell if can be fixed by compounding or already needs repainting.
