    nyaks...the Makita looks interesting (random + rotary in one? :drool: ) but 300 bucks!? plus maybe another 50 for the cutting/polishing pads? it's a little more than i was looking to spend :sweat:

    You would never see the advantage of the BO6040 over a Makita 9227 or a Hitachi SP18VA circular polisher...

    Read this topic I started in Autopia about circular polishers...

    PC7424 with yellow pad + Meguiars Dual action polish will remove mostly of the swirls.I'm assuming this is for personal use.How many times do you want to polish your car?IMO, once a year is enough coz most of the modern cars has thin clearcoat.
