Q: Black&Decker KP600 Owners

sa mga owners ng kp600, have you experienced the nasty "tunog-lata" sound like my unit? sounds like takatakatak?

i might have found the fix for it ... apparently, the bearings for the motor shake about their clamp/support which is part of the plastic housing ... i applied two layers of electrical tape around the bearing nearest the pad (there is another bearing at the other end of the motor but i didn't put tape on it), just a little wider than the bearing's width, to serve as cushion and tighter clamp ... it eliminated the loud takatak sound

some noise is still heard from the pad assembly because it is designed to shake off-axis but i am unable to disassemble this part ... this noise is tolerable anyhow so i just leave it as it is

I think they sell that velcro back up pad that you can install to your polisher and the polishing pads can be attached to this.

ill find out the number..but its located sa shaw blvd sa kalengton...if you coming from edsa..take shaw blvd towards sta mesa..but when you get to kalengton.meron jollibee on your left.turn left and you will see a bldg..doon yung svc center of b&d. i had my grass trimmer fixed there..mon-fri 830-530pm yata office hours nila with lunch break...fyi..

nakabili na ako KP600 last saturaday, bat ganon ang foam applicator na kasama ang hirap ikabit .. tinesting ko sa sasakyan ni erpats eh okay naman hehe

next na bibilihin ko is velcro and mga pads..

ano magandang brand ng mga pads for KP600?

AFAIK -- kung ang tinutukoy mong 250 e yung polishing "kit" (ata ang tawag ng BnD 'dun) hindi ito reuseable.
