Ang ginagamit kong carwash is turtle wax liquid type..

    3. How's the difference in shine compared to turtle wax?

    4. Can it remove or hide swirl marks?

Hehe

I personally let the rain water dry then just dust it off after. This happened a lot back then on school days at talagang nakakayamot mangyari yan.

    - Yes, provided that you wash the car properly (two-bucket method) with proper items for washing.

    3. How's the difference in shine compared to turtle wax?

    - Malayo.

    4. Can it remove or hide swirl marks?

    - It can hide but it can't remove.

Kung makapal man ang na-accumulate na alikabok, dusting it off with CCD or Microtex duster is a breeze.

Hehe
Gusto ko din ng value for the money..
    Hope this helps.

Hopefully, nabasa mo na yun mga sticky topics natin dito sa Tsikot especially the one typed by Doc which is very helpful for newbies.|

I salute that you're very hands-on sa kotse. I was din yun nagaaral pa ako however, the best thing you can give your car is a roof over it. If you have to pay a bit of extra compared to an open parking, do it and it'll pay off by itself over the long-run.

A car should usually be washed when it's very dirty. The less you have to clean it, the better. Even if you're very obsessive-compulsive when it comes to being clean, don't waste your time trying to remove light dirt. Instead, go purchase a Microtex duster and simply dust it off. Unfortunately, trying to avoid visible swirl marks for your car is a part-time job as it is. It's like trying to avoid germs in the air -- kahit ano gawin mo, as long as it's an everyday car, you'd be getting swirls one way or the other.

From the looks of your needs, what you need isn't a wax but rather a polish or an AIO. If not, save some cash and take a trip to the nearest reputable detailer and avail of their 2-step/3-step detailing then maintain from there. A polish and a cleaner guarantees that your paint surface is ready and it's time to lay the foundation of a wax. A wax's primary job is to protect the paint and it's secondary function is to enhance it. Regardless of what you do, no matter how expensive the wax is, as long as the paint surface is crap, it'll turn out crap. But if the paint surface is excellent, that's where all the smiles go.

    Now to answer your questions:

    1. Yes. First you do is to not let it dry since you'll be having rainwater sediments sa lower panels mo. When you get home, spray your car with water. This would run off the rainwater and all the dirt along with it and depending on how soiled it is, you can choose to simply dry it with a Microtex Ultra (if wala ka pa, go purchase one. It'll be one of your best buddies sa detailing versus your everyday chamois) or do the entire wash regimen if it's heavily soiled.

    2. Yes. Depending on climate and conditions but generally on everyday use, yes. As long as it doesn't get abused (ex. bombarded with bird **** or tree sap), it'll last you 1-2 months and even more.

    3. Should be better but don't sweat it if you can't see the difference. "Reflectivity" is subjective. All I know is that a wax, once used on a car, is indistinguishable to the naked eye compared to brand X. I've never had a person walk up to me and say "oi, gamit mo dyan dodo juice noh? ganda ng shine!". But if it's a side-to-side comparo, it should be better unless you're using the black box

    4. Hide? Uhh.. slight. Remove? No.

    5. Yes. Unless you keep your car inside an air-locked garage, you'll accumulate dust kahit ano gawin mo. Of course, if dust is your main problem, there are ways to minimize and aggravate it. For example, using Nanosliq would aggravate it but anti-static products like FK or OGE would minimize your dust attraction.

+1 sa OGE (in case the TS asks, it means Optimum Gloss Enhancer). Guaranteed at least 50% less dust ang kotse.

    BTW idol, ano yung FK?

Finish Kare (Mold Release Products,Paint Sealants,Car Care Prouducts,Mold Release Agents Suppliers). They're always stating their supposed "anti-static" properties but frankly, it's hard to procure domestically so go for the OGE instead.

    3. How's the difference in shine compared to turtle wax?

    4. Can it remove or hide swirl marks?

    - remove? no. hide? no pa din. if you want to remove swirls, polish it. if you want to hide lang try using sealant

Hehe
Gusto ko din ng value for the money..
as any other wax, kung di maganda ang pagkalinis at pagka-prepare ng paint surface ay hindi mo makikita ang talagang effect ng wax mo. di lang kintab ang hinahabol mo sa wax, kung hindi proteksiyon sa pintura yan ng sasakyan mo laban sa mga contaminants.

The gurus' replies are correct. Have your car polished by a detailer, then maintain it with 915. The shine and durability between 915 and TW is night and day.
