Sa Rhed One Carwash- Jhun Cilot (Felix ave. near Sta Lucia) Nadali ako sa pinaayos kong dent. 300 ang advertisement sa OLX. Pagdating ko 2500 daw dahil malaki. Yung kumausap sa kin sa shop (kapatid yata) hindi yung mismong si Jhun dahil padating pa lang sya. May pinakita pa ako maliit na dent as in dimple lang 800 daw dahil hindi daw dimple pero napakaliit lang talaga. Dahil bnyahe ko pa para magpaayos sinabi ko na lang baka pwedeng babaan 2k na lang daw para sa 1 dent and 1 dimple. Dumating si Jhun nilapitan ko and sinabi ko ang taas ng hiningi sa kin. In the end, binayaran ko 1800 for 1 dent and 1 dimple. Charge to experience na lang. Sa magpapagawa si Jhun na lang kausapin nyo and linawin nyo din. Naayos naman pero nadisappoint lang dahil naisahan ako.

Gaano kalaki ba yung dent? Dyan ako nag papagwa kay Jhun at reasonable manan yung singil niya. Pwede mong tawaran siya. Nasa ~300 per small dent at me tawad yan pag maraming dent ang gagawin so magiging pakyawan.

Mga size ng 25 cent coin. Yung isa as in maliit na dimple hindi naman malalim. Tingin ko talaga sinamantala lang nung isang kausap ko.

Wala pang 1K dapat yan. Yung pinaka malaking dent na pinagwa ko sa kanya ay nasa 3K. Ang size ay kasing laki ng tennis ball diameter at sa bubong. Need to remove yung cealing niya kaya medyo mahal siya at mahirap yung pwesto ng dent. Matagal ginawa.

Oo nga nabadtrip nga ko sa una ko kausap di ko alam kung kapatid nya yun, kuya kasi tawag nya. Parang kung baga, binabaan na lang to 1800 from 2k ni Jhun dahil masyadong obvious na pinerahan ako.Mapapahiya yung kausap ko. Nanghihinayang lang ako sa bnyahe and oras ko kaya pumayag na ko. So sa mga papagawa kay Jhun na kayo mkipagusap.

Had a bad experience when I visited Rovic in Makati, i have a small dent about the size of a 10cent coin on the door. I initially inquired thru text and described to him and told me it was gonna ba 400 for a small dent and 800 for medium dent.

When I visited his shop in 53 Paseo de Roxas Makati, upon inspection he outright told me 3,000 for this and better to go to use my insurance since is a brand new car (barely a month old) and probably be better to replace the door. Wtf this is a freaking small dent thats visibly from 20ft away when light hits it just right.

I went to him first and only time to have a dent repaired on my itlog lancer 15yrs ago becuase of a post here in tsikot and even recommended him awlays when being asked for advise for PDR. But 3k for single small dent, kaya nga ako pumupunta sa PDR so I can save on participation fee.

These guys probably think that there is still this honeymoon period for having a brand new car, and they can over charge or equal the participation fee just to milk unsusprcting customers for a simple dent repair.

A good 3k PDR is still a lot less headache than a bad hobo 1 or a small paint job. On doors, paint matching can sometimes lead to spraying the entire side. And remember, resprayed panels may not react well to future PDR.

Depends on the location of the dent ... if there's a panel behind that can be easily removed for access ...

When dents are beyond just PDR but won't warrant panel replacement, I'd still go PDR + respray.... Less corrosion risk & less Bondo vs. heat+hammer+paint.

Visited Richard again this morning. Aga pumasok and he was his usual upbeat self. The dent was low on the door on the character line so he asked permission to make a hole at the bottom of the door to access it. He was able to restore the line and he also painted the hole to prevent corrosion. I'll sand the area down and touch it up next.
