paint it black!!!

hi guys.. how can we paint (black) those chromed grilles? i was told that it can be painted but it will fade soon.. is there any way? thanks

i sand mo muna yung chrome, tapos put putty, tapos paint over it. siguro two coats of black plus one clear coat will do.

what part of the car?

pag chrome trimmings sa windows dont try na,
it will chip off agad.

pag yung mga iba,better sand it off with a good 600 grit,then
sand it again with 1000 na mabilis lang.

then prime it,then sand with 1000 just to remove the orange peel,
then paint it na with black.


dont put body filler/putty or it will get off agad dun sa surface since
we want it just black it,baka makitid yung surface it will result
to chipoffs.

this is the correct process. just remember to also clean the piece thoroughly with painter's solvent (lacquer thinner can work) in between sanding steps.

grills are notoriously difficult to paint because you have to sand every part of the piece, and there are many places that are hard to get to. but if you don't scuff up every inch, the paint won't adhere properly and it will eventually peel off.

its a sticker that looks like an electric tape,
its flat black already and it will last long.


mine is 5years and going pa rin,ulan araw init pressure washer and
a lot cheaper to make IMO.

boss, pati pa ung B-Pillar, sticker lang yan? What brand and where can i buy this black sticker? I'm planning to make my B-Pillar black ren, instead of body color. mahal kasi sa CASA ung center pillar garnishings eh.

sa Avanza G sticker pala ang nakalagay not painted. Ang J kasi ay body color. Mayroong nag DIY para mag mukang G using stickers. ganda ng kinalabasan.

an agent used para it will look like that,

RE on the sticker,i called out the sticker supplier.
out of stock nung flat,maybe you can find it on your local
sticker shop.
