finally bought a mother's step 3 pure carnauba yesterday..grabe sa blade trinoma lagi walang stock, buti sa blade sm sanlazaro meron pa i'm on my way to detailing again, after a week of nonwashing dami kasi schoolworks..i'll try to post some pics asap

Sana di kayo maging katulad ko na bumili ng napakaraming detailing products sabay after 3 months tinamad na haha. Now may bagong kotse na naman kaya mapapabili ulit ng detailing products, so far nakaka dalawang hugas pa lang ako. I've decided not to do anymore waxing since the cost of the wax and microfibers and even the rotary buffer would cost more than 4,000. Eh for that amount, pwede ko na pa wax yun car ko sa bigberts ng 8 times, and that's about 2-3 waxes a year lang so ok na din and hindi pa pagod. So i only bought washing and drying products and maybe a bottle of QD soon =).

nice ride. maintain it bro at iwas sa barururot na maneho para iwas sagi at bangga. always park in a covered parking area but do not park under trees. its PITA to remove dagta lalo na yung maliiit na parang overspray. besides CR din ng mga ibon yan pag asa ilalim ka ng puno. its good you have a covered garage as well.

from experience lang ha, pag pinaghirapan mo ang linis ng sasakyan, magiging maingat ka magmaneho :P consequently, maglinis lagi ng sasakyan para maingat magmaneho.

btw, suggestion ko lang ha, remove the stickers on your glass such as the conduction sticker sa harap at likod (anyway me plaka ka na e) and the oval thing on the lower right (scrubby coat right?) sisiksikan lang yan ng dumi and besides, parang dyahe tingnan ganda ng pinta mo tapos me stickers ka (subjective only though). sa glass naman, pre, AGAPAN mo na. its hard to remove water spots on glass. hindi matatago ang water spots sa glass. pahirapang scrub ito not to mention the risk of scratching it. for the glass, what i bought for cleaning the glass is the "d' best polish" 80.00 sa handyman. scrub mo yung glass mo using this one + pranela or small mf keeping the glass always wet. tapos ang ipang rinse mo is yung glass scrub ng glass science. tuyuin mo mabuti then apply immediately glass science rain repellant gel. i bought the pack of gel w/ free scrub. do this to all your glasses (labas lang ha). isama mo na yung side mirror. when treated with glass science, kahit di ka magwiper pwede. it gets better as you go faster and as rain pours more.

you got a nice tint to. i suggest "do not" stick the lto registration sticker on the windshield. if you do stick them, remove them asap upon expiration. their stickers tend to "eat the tint" kapag tumagal ang sticker at tinanggal, sumasama yung kulay ng tint. sa case ko naman, pinapalaminate ko yung registration sticker tapos sinasabit ko nalang sa pillars. mas mura magpalaminate kesa tint.

sa chrome parts, pwede na yung glo metal polish. sa emblems naman, toothbrush para sa singit singit. suggestion ko rin sa plaka is kapag nag-renew ka ng registro, tanggalin mo rin yung lumang sticker at lagyan ng 3 layers of clear coat ang plaka, tapos wax then dikit yung bagong sticker. nabubura kasi yung pinta ng plaka e.

although optional, pa-undercoat ka annually. kapag tagulan mas frequent dapat ang underwash.

btw, bakit ka nag lsp (last step product) ng turtle wax? anong turtle wax yun? me tendency kasi na matanggal or numipis yung mothers step 3 mo kung me cleaner content ang lsp. i suggest leave the step 3 as is and just use another lsp in between waxes - these are spray waxes or qd's that do not have cleaners or very mild cleaners only.

1. oo nga po eh, ingat na ingat na talaga ako..at pag may nakita akong alikabok dampot ko agad MF towel ko at punas agad haha..

2. i'll have to ask my dad po muna first though na-consider ko na rin po yan..ang linis kasi tignan pag walang sticker, neat tignan ang kotse.

3. i'll try to tell my dad din po regarding sa LTO sticker sa windshield. pero tinatanggal po niya talaga yun upon expiration..sa 2011 pa po namin matatanggal yun hehe (2008,2009,2010 registration)..

4. kinukulit ko nga po dad ko regarding underwash eh hehe..pero agree naman siya pag may oras na po kukulitin ko ulit hehehe.

i don't mean to sound too square and subjective, but i'd just use the tw for the mags

my point is, naka mothers ka na i don't think there's anything more you can ask for.

for the cleaning of the mags, i just use the regular car wash shampoo that i am using. ok na ang pranela dito kasi matigas naman ang mags e. just apply the tw every once in a while sa mags for protection. actually waxing the mags help keep oxidation away. you can use the tw for this kahit hindi na mothers.

lagyan mo narin ng wax yung plaka after the clear coat. again, pwede na yung tw para dito

pwede kung sa pwede... if you have the time and budget. just use a wax that has no cleaners kasi sayang lang ang previous effort mo kung mawawala rin lang.

if you are referring to mothers sealer and glaze no 2, kahit hindi sya weekly. ang step 2 kasi ng mothers recommended sya on top of clear coat NOT an existing waxed area.

as i have mentioned in another thread related to this, i think it would be more economical to just use qd and spray wax to prolong the traditional waxing interval.

initial investment would be very high due to the addition of spray wax and qd, but you'll be saving your traditional wax naman to serve you longer.

kahapon kasi nakabili ako nung claybar kit yung luma na may wax cleaner, qd and 1 clay bar. after reading this thread gusto ko bumili nung step 2,3 and might as well yun microtex car duster na din.

btw so far, since september 9 nung huli akong nagdetail ang kintab pa rin hanggang ngayon..need ko talaga na ang QD para ma-maintain yung kintab lalo..medyo halatang nababawasan na eh..

kung low budget ako gamit kong QD yung zymol na quick detailer 150 pesos lng with free Lubriacnt. Pero so far na try ko na the best na QD eh ung reflections na QD..
