    Hi there!

I just had my corolla 1997 fit with new body kit and flarings. However, i didnt anticipate that my stock altis 2005 mags would be left behind due to the flarings. It was suggested that i need to use atleast 1 inch thick spacer and 3 inch studs. Im having a problem where to buy such 1 inch thick. Most in the market are 1/2 inch. A friend tells me that its much better to use an adaptor instead of 3inch long studs. I tried inquiring some machine shops through phone but only few are able to give a positive response in regards with the fabrication. But the aluminum alloy material needed is still a problem as to where to buy... Please help me or possibly refer any known establishment that i could go to and not to expensive ones..im only working on a limited budget. I would appreciate any suggestions which safe path to go to...TY

ONly buy hub centric spacers.Honestly spacers are not safe especially on high speed.

Hub-centric means that the spacer will be held centered on the hub/axle centerline by the inside diameter of the hub hole in the spacer or wheels. The inside diameter of the hole in the spacer or wheel is just a shade larger than the diameter on the axle hub, for tight fit.

Thank you for the info..however, one more question..will the alumminum alloy be strong enough to hold the mags/tires or should i use a steel material? They say that using steel will make it heavier.
