April 21st, 2003 08:03 PM #1mud guards nga ba tawag don? Pero how do u clean/restore them? Medyo namumuti na kasi sila. Tried wipe out and other stuff na wala pa din.
Pwede ba to papaint? Maganda ba pag gawing body color?
Suggest ko lang sa inyo to remove and wash them. Daming buhangin. Tatlong turnilyo lang naman yan bawat isa. :D
I tried it over the weekend. Pati yung body panel na kinakabitan nito puro namuong putik na.

A lot of cars have body color mudguards. Ano ba auto mo pre? Pag malambot yung mudguards, scrubbing them with detergent can tidy them up quite a bit.

Armor all (or any other dressing) will just mask the problem till the next wash. Most white stains sa mudguards are caused by slinging of poor quality "tire blacks"... Your best solution is to remove the mudguards, scrub them really well with a degreaser solution, then dry... if it's really faded, then your option is to repaint them instead... Make sure it's totally dry before using them, otherwise, it's pointless. I recommend using Bondo Plastic paint.
