mods for 50k?Please help!

Good evening tsikoteers, Please help me, my dad and I, are planning to restore our car this coming month the budget is 50k-55k.

let say the car is Honda ESi (EFI) all stock

1. re-paint?(wash-over) - recommended shop? - cost?
2. seat cover(leatherette) - recommended shop? - cost?
3. Mags 15" (ROTAwheels) - - P15k-16.5
4. 4 new tires 195/55(choices are)- Bridgestone -cost?
- Yokohama -cost?
- Dunlop -cost?
5. shocks 4 gas-type(KYB) -recommended shop -cost?
6. lowering spring 1.5 drop -recommended spring/shop -cost?

total- -P50k-55k

Help Please badly needed for the qoutation.

any feedbacks po sa mga naiisip kung ipagawa?

Kung lahat po yan, mukhang kulang yan... washover pa lng half na lng budget mo yan....
prang sa mga nilagay mo dyan, estimate ko isa mga 70-80k na yan eh huhuhu sorry to inform you papz

I suggest that you start with the more important, performance upgrades first like the shocks, tires and mags.

+1, kc di mo naman massbe bka mmya magasgasan ka ulit eh, suspensions, if ever luma na kc ung car, engine support dapat muna, yan muna tyka na muna outside, think inside out muna...

IMO, id go for a repaint kung dull na yung color-- wetlook daw ok talaga magrepaint or washover. pm mo is lexter, mas mura yung paint sakanya and recommended ng mga tiskotser. roughly mga 30k - 35k. then sa remaining cash... mags na lang muna na hindi lowered. that can follow na kung may budget na ulit. id say mga 15" lang para mura goma then sell your stock para abot sa pangbili ng new set (not surplus). go to blumentrit para madami choices ng mags. yokohama a520 195/50/15 new set would go about 10k - 11k para sa 4 na yun. hanap ka lang bagay para sa tsikot niyo.

pero if wala pa rust and ok pa paint, well you can lower it down with tein or h&r then tokico gas type. mga 20k lahat to. kung may matira pa konte... complete detail (interior, exterior, engine).

seatcovers you can order from mg square mga 4k yan.

as for repainting i can refer you to kuya nelson, had my car painted a month ago. cost me around 18k, no regrets.

* shay --> ot: gusto ko lang po malaman kung yung change color niyo kasama engine bay and buong interior? nakita ko na po kasi yung pix ng oto niyo and im very impressed. galing niya nga for that small amount to pay. may warranty (gaano katagal) ba? pano if there is back jobs? also im from the south, kaya ba home service dito? sorry dami tanong.. kasi parang highly recommened niyo siya and the resuts show... thanks

OT: same problem din sa TS, imo if your car need a repainting then that must be the first kung wala naman problem sa engine and stock lahat.. then sunod ko yung mags and tires(ex: 30k for washover, 15k for tires/mags, 3k for seat cover)..

first, are the tires and suspension in dangerously bad condition? if they are, unahin mo to. safety first.

second, is the paint in really bad shape? if so, priority dapat to. no sense putting borloloy on kung mukha namang basura yung paint job mo

assuming ok naman yung stock everything and paint, i would go wheels/tires and suspension first. nothing changes the look of a car more than some nice rims

post ko tomorrow pictures. mag papapolish ako ulit sakanya e. sakin, i chose anzahl for the paint. pwede rin dupont but for civic hes asking for 22k, halos pareho lang naman so i chose anzahl: jet black.

sa tandang sora ang shop nya. yup engine bay pati interiors, change color kase sakin. may warranty naman, kausapin mo lang sha. baet si kuya, pag may back job pwede mo sha tawagin or balik mo lang sa shop nya. he also offers home service if gusto mo, add ka lang ng konti. punta ulit ako tomorrow for polishing/buffing! post ako pictures after, 3m kase ginamit nya na glaze nung una e, gusto ko ng mirror finish, so kumuha sha ng meguiars with no extra cost! baet talaga! refer kita if you want, pm mo nalang ako!

thanks guys for the replies, mga sir, ok pa naman yung paint niya pero di naman ganun kagrabe sira yung paint may mga lumulobo lang sa bubong. kung sabagay mas dapat uunahin ko yung ilalim medyo masama na nga. balak ko pagawa shocks(4 gas KYB)at lowering spring(1.5 drop any brand) at sabay ko na engine supports, at bushing(how much pala ito,estimate lang?)at cguro mags at tires kasya na siguro..

kung sa bubong lang madali nalang yun sir, di ka masyado mapapagastos dun. try cruven!

If gagawin mo yang lahat ng nakalist... hindi kasya ang 50K mo.

Btw, OEM shocks (like the KYB) + lowering springs are not a good combination... the lifespan of your new shock absorbers will deteriorate faster.

I'd skip the lowering springs. Get shocks if you need them nalang.

On a garaged Honda ESi, I'd prioritize this:
1. Repaint / Rustproof (the roof, that is)
2. Radiator Hoses and fans (if you haven't used this a long time, yes, replace the hoses)
3. Shocks, brake resurfacing
4. Mags / Tires

If gagawin mo yang lahat ng nakalist... hindi kasya ang 50K mo.

sir niky thanks for reply, sir gusto ko kasi kahit papaano eh may porma ang kotse ko kaya gusto ko i-drop kahit 1.5 lang.anu po bilhin ko na shocks(gas ba o fluid)pag nagpalowered ako?

1. ok pa naman paint niya may lumulubo sa bubong
2. kailangan ko na po palitan mga ito(thanks for suggestion)
3. shocks at spring?
4. mags at tires pag may sobra pa..
