long deep scratch on black rav

help!

somebody scratched my car (black RAV4-SV). the scratch is on the passenger side, running almost from the front headlights to the rear lights. ang haba! the scratch from the 2 doors to the front seem especially deep. it looks like a coin or a key was used. now, there's like a white line running from one end of the car to the other. kainis tingnan.

i'm almost wishing na i just drove alongside a branch of a tree, or a shrub na di ko napansin. parang ang sama that someone would do this deliberately.

i can't pretend to know anything about DIY stuff. can you suggest a place i can go to, to at least minimize the scratches at di masyadong maging eye sore?

woah! may ganyan din ako sa rav4 ko... black din, halatang halata talaga ung scratch... kainis tignan.. at least, maikli lang ung sakin half lang ng rear passenger door. and hindi ko alam kung sinong cute ang nantrip dun. pinawax ko na sa bigberts pero andun pa din.

Sa amin din may mga scratches na yung RAV4 namin isa na dun sa passenger door side may dent or yupi nga ng kaunti eh..
Kung hindi malalim ang scratch kaya pa ng rubbing compound yan kaso malalim eh..Pero try mo na rin sa bigberts...

pano ba gamitin ung rubbing compound? applicable ba sa plastic parts un? nasagi din ako ng boploks na tricycle driver e.

kaunting kaunti lang nung rubbing compound.. kasi minsan nagtitira ng kaunting mark na parang may pinahid ka talaga.. mamuti muti pa ang hitsura pag naparami....

the best place pa rin is try to big berts!!....

ako din badtrip merun sa may hood.. pumunta kasi ako antonio's sa tagaytay kanin kanina lang.. sumabit sa mga branches.. ang liit kasi ng daan papunta.. badtrip sobra.. sana hinde malalim at makuha nila bigberts :D

try niyo gs27 scratch remover. its not really a fix,but at least yung white line magiging black siya. it comes with a set of crayola that is used to color the white line. the deep scratch is still there. meron narin siya compound kasama for hairline scratches. just dont use toomuch compound. it could literally remove your clearcoat. hth

Just discovered a scratch on my car's hood . Di naman ganon kalalim, another trip to bigberts I guess.

You may also want to try mothers sealer and glaze, I've tried it once on a prominent scratch on the back of my car, and it did hide it like wonders. Using rubbing compound will lessen the protective clearcoat of your ride IMO, you better let a prof detailer do it for you.
