May 3rd, 2012 08:48 PM #1Hello to all! ngayon ko lang napansin ang very light scratch na ito habang nililinis ang innova ko. At first, akala ko linear dust accumulation lng but when I tried wiping it with my microtex cloth ayaw talaga matanggal Is there any other way to hide this light scratch without using touch up paint? thank you in advance for the reply/replies, will surely appreciate it. :D

if the scratch doesn't go too deep, it can be buffed out. Either a competent car detailer or a good car painting shop can help you.

May 3rd, 2012 09:12 PM #4Based on the pictures, mukhang hindi pa naman ganun kalalim yung scratch sir at mukhang hindi pa naman umabot sa primer. Try using Mothers Scratch Remover. That worked for me and was pleased with the outcome. Meron din yung Meguiars but double the price ng Mothers (although I think it should work as well). Both are available in True Value / Ace / Blade. Don't forget to wax the the area after applying the scratch remover.

May 3rd, 2012 09:14 PM #5Btw, try mo muna pala i wax lang. Sometimes waxing can remove those light scratches, but if not try the scratch remover.

scratch is very light, should be easily removed by a light polish. bring it to any reputable detailing shop to have it fixed.

If you want to DIY it, using a liquid wax is okay but avoid using a paint polishing compound or anything similar because if done in a wrong manner, the areas you tried polishing can end up with a dull finish.
When in doubt, just bring it to the professionals. They wouldn't charge you a lot for it anyway.

May 3rd, 2012 10:52 PM #8thank you very much Sir FM GHost Moderator and to all replied. I'll bring it right away bukas sa auto detailer, may suggested reputable detailer within makati area/global CIty and how long po yung auto detailing time? One last thing po, have someone tried this product (SEE image below) sa ganitong type of light scratch? hehehe curious ako kung talagang practically possible ang product na to as reflected in their TV advertisements. thanks!!
