    Mag pips anong downfall ng hilamos lang? alin ang masmaganda strip to the metal lang o patungan na lang yung old paint?

    hilamos lang kahit change color because OEM primer is still the best. strip to metal ka lang kung may rust formation na IMO.

    Like what ssalon said, hilamos lang kung either change color lang or re-paint using the same color. OEM primer pa rin a the best. Kung matindi na kalawang a kalat na, then strip to metal. If you do that, try to get a hold of the OEM primer.

    no need to strip to metal if its just a washover, even for a color change, unless you have some rust on your cars body. Striping to metal is not only more expensive, it exposes your cars body to potential rusts if not preped well.

    agree with all posts above... strip to the metal if there's rust and other major defects to consider. OEM primer is very hard to beat so make sure to get the same quality.

    as for hilamos, pwede nga ito sa change colors, basta general "hugas" ng car mo. if ever, go for two-stage paint... ung may top coat afterwards.

    its always good to have your car assessed muna by a professional if you're not sure about it.

    hilamos lang. sayang yung oem primer. if you do strip to metal, make sure you have it done by a reputable shop. and make sure na oem primer ang gamitin.

    May question ako pwede ba yun ang pastrip to metal mo yung may mga rust lang tapos the rest nung body ay hilamos lang?
