ok, when i was doin a sneak peak on prices of lowering springs.. one of the shops that i came across with said that tanabe's are much better springs for japanese cars. He also said that h&r's are used for european vehicles and it is stiffer compared to the japanese counterpart..

    1. is this true? im thinkin of what springs to buy, now im confuse... h&r's or tanabe? which one... guys out there who has first hand experience on these products opinion needed...

    2. btw the cheapest tanabe's i know is 9.6k and according to makna h&r's 13.5k anyone know a place where both products are cheaper to buy?

it depends. on a civic (EK), maganda ang ride ng tanabe. sa mga lancer, galant, maganda ride ng H&R.

H&R products are awesome. they, after all, are one of the pioneers in this industry and the quality shows. it's true that they tend to be stiffer, though.

    no personal experience with Tanabe.

You might get a better deal buying from a retailer who has equipment and expert installers. Unless you will install it yourself or Makna has the capability as well.

reputation ng Eibach is that they have a more comfortable ride, but usually don't offer really aggressive drops. they are also a bit expensive.

    great quality products though.

difference of coilovers and lowering springs? pero h&r na kunin ko eh, hehe did read a lot about h&r springs kasi and other brands

so if i do get an h&r sport what dampers/shocks should i get?

if it were bilstein, what type?durability?
if it will be KYB, which one?durability?

coilovers offer the benefit of adjusting your car's height (and if it's a full coilover kit), including the damping rate. pero mas harsh ang ride ng coilovers compared to lowering springs. do not get those cheap coilovers (like weapon R) and the like, unless trip mo talaga ang matagtag.

pero ramdam mo talaga yung added benefit ng stiffer suspension on the track with coilovers.

PS: next time, maybe you can post all your queries in one topic/thread?
