ONR experiment findings on the glass coat... I got good results on the No Rinse Ratio. The car is kept clean and the dust is less noticeable. I tried QD ratio on the whole car, the week before. It seems to attract a lot of dust. Pero baka that's not the right use. Also, i parked the car sa open parking ng MOA.

I'm kinda curious on carpro's ech2o. Has anybody used that on their coats?

On the ONR No rinse ratio, I used a 1.5L water spray with pump. Yung pang garden. Kasya naman sya for the whole car basta hindi gaano ka dumi. Tapos may sponge ako with to spread the solution and pickup the dirt. Tapos micro fiber towels to dry the car. Hindi ko lang about yung roof. Kelangan ko ng step ladder hahha.

each suv tire(265-60-18) is rated above 1000kg(at max psi,44)

your weight is an ant vs the tire capacity 😅

How about South Casa? The shop behind Kia Molino. I was looking at their price list & a small SUV like a Tucson will cost P18k. Their Hilamos (washover) with detailing & glass coating is P30k. How does the price compare?

I got my glass coat for 21k sa rebirth las pinas. That includes paint correction. If gtechniq * optimum impressions, that would be around 17k (ata). Also, includes the paint correction.

Is washover needed ba sa new car? Baka sulit sya kung hindi na gaanong bago yung car.

Nagpa-glass coat ako ng car namin including all the glass. Kaso nagski-skip ung wipers. So eventually, i has the coating of the front windshield removed. Now, I'm worrying na magka-watermarks naman ung front windshield.

So should I try coating the windshield again? If so, should I try another brand?

I've heard of aquapel for coating the windshield. Not sure if anybody carries that here. Also I've heard about the ultra glaco windshield coating. No feedbacks about that too.

To those who had their windshield coated, nagski-skip ba wipers nyo? Be it kung mahina or malakas ung ulan?

Yes, I'm having the same experience every time I cleaned my windshield with rain repellent even on a new car.

What I'm using now is clean my windshield with ArmorAll autoglass cleaner, then seal it with Turtle Ice synthetic wax and works great.

The only problem is I'm on my last bottle of TW ice and I think they discontinue this product, as I could not find it anymore and still looking for replacement.

I've been considering aquapel... I guess I'll just stick to Microtex. I remember I used elevo, but the product is so strong that it can damage your paint. However, I do remember that it's so effective that during heavy rain I used the slowest speed for wiper.

So same experiences pala with coated windshields. Skipping wipers. Siguro will try the soft99 ultra glaco windshield coating as a last resort. Kung magskip pa rin, no coating on the windshield na.
