GREAT! Carnauba wax ate through my clear coat

Woohooo! ang saya saya.

Lintek na formula 1 carnauba wax nyan. triple na ung swirls ng hood ko!!!!
Imbes na kumintab, lumabo lalo. ****.

It's not the applicator (meguires pads). yung wax talaga. it burned in.

I know the hood is a lighter material than the body pero got damn... why does the clear coat on it so crappy? water marks and swirls all over.

haay nako, hilamos nato..... maybe next year.

any car wax na hindi harmful sa paint?!!!

did you hand apply it? Or use a machine?

Wax per se is not abrasive, and should not contain any paint deminishing compounds, maybe the "wax" you bought isn't really a wax, but a polisher with abrasives... and they maket it as a wax.

naku naman! i saw that formula 1 "wax", i think its a rubbing compound nga or scratch remover (ironic noh? hehe) ..i havent seen any formula 1 na wax talaga eh...

and the instruction didn't say machine apply. just apply in CURCULAR motion. P u t c h a.

hmmmmn carnauba ba talaga kaya yan??? I use the cheapo AutoGuard Carnauba wax and it does a good job. Hindi nga nagkakaroon ng water spots ang paint ko pagkatapos ng ulan. Baka iba yang Formula 1 na yan? :question:
