How to determine if the mark is paint transfer.

Mga ka-tsikoteers tanong ko lang po kung pano idetermine kung paint transfer yung markss isang sasakyan. Side mirror mo ba natamaan? body color ba side mirror mo? anong kulay ang naiwan? dati kasi yung sa akin naiwan is parang black na mark, from the side mirror ng taxi. pina buff ko lang natanggal naman. pa check mo lang sa mga detailers, alam nila kung matanggal or not.

Nalimutan ko picturan yung tama will try to picture it later nasa class na kasi ako ngayon bakanmay maligaw na knowledgeable detailer baka sakali madetermine nila.

Bili ka ng rubbing compound then ikaw na lang mag buff. Kahit wala ka rotary polisher pwede naman.

Meron 3M rubbing compound sold in sachets.. just enough for your need. Lagay ka lang ng small amount sa basahan tapos rub gently sa paint transfer.. diinan mo ng konti yung pag rub kung ayaw matanggal.. pero wag sobra kasi baka yung paint mo naman matanggal

3M meron nabibilang sachet lang. Parang non gritty type pa tub rubbing compound nila.

Yung 3m sachet or kung gusto mo mothers o kaya meguiars pero nasa bote yan at medyo mahal 700 to 1k. Pwede rin pang-tanggal ng scratches yan.

I use polishing compound first. It's less harsh than rubbing compound.

Mas malalim mag cut ang rubbing compound. Parang sand paper mas coarse yun rubbing compound.

Ah i see so parang mas mataas na grit yung rubbing compound than yung swirl and scratch remover?

I use polishing compound first. It's less harsh than rubbing compound.

Would toothpaste be any good?

Ang alam ko pwede kasi may abrasive compound din ang toothpaste ata, pero diko lang sure kung gano ka abrasive.

BTW natanggal ko na buti paint transfer lang. I followed Chris Fix's video on removing paint transfer.
