Honda 95 ESI Rusted Roof

Hey guys, need your advice, our Honda ESI's roof has rusted, I've been getting advice that I should change the whole roof instead of just repairing it, is this the way to go? I'm planning on having the car repainted.

sa akin kapapagawa ko lang less than a month pa lang pero okay naman siya. kasi the last time na pinagawa ko siya hindi okay ang gawa kaya pinaulit ko 4K ang siningil sa akin. btw my car is Honda City 1997, sabi nila problema talaga ng Honda ang bubong.

assess first how rusted your roof is. maybe a scrape to metal paint job of the roof will reveal all the rust which the latero can take care of.

roof cut is also expensive.
