Mga pre tanong ko lang sa inyo kung may idea kayo kung magkano yung rates ng foil a car sa may global city? Wala po kasing nakalagay sa website nila e.

And totoo po bang pag pinafoil mo yung sasakyan mo ng ibang kulay sa original color ng sasakyan mo kailangan mo pang gumawa ng paper works like ireregister mo siya sa LTO as a different color?

    Thanks po!

hmm.. based on the site it can protect daw the oem paint but i have no idea if it will need new lto registration. It does look nice, esp on the evo and the H3 and i personally saw a gc foiled in matte black Eto sir, try mo contact sila for sure they can answer all you queries.

    Its a technical issue.

Since the car still has it's original color paint under the sticker, you dont have to register with the LTO with a change of color for your car.

yung sa gc na matte black parang 100-150k ata inabot. so i'm thinking the bigger the car is the more expensive it will be.

Mas mura pa scrape to metal paint job.

Hirap pa diyan sa foil, kapag nabalutan mo na tapos nagasgasan hindi na pwede touch-up. Foil the whole panel ulit. Doble, triple, quadruple gastos ang tinitignan mo diyan.

So unless you're rich or doesn't give a damn about your foiled car afterward then have a washover instead.

Makes sense, bagay lang siguro pang show car to protect the paint, but impractical for your daily driver.

Oo. Pero show car lang ata yun ?

Yung Genesis Coupe ni heinrich, foiled din. Matte black.

for the protection of the paint daw ba? IMO sa tingin ko pwede naman i-maintain ng wax and detailing yung original paintjob, foiling is just an other option, kung ayaw talaga siguro ma-virginan yung paintjob mo ng masasamang elemnto.

Baka parang screen protector, skins, or plastic on the furniture psychology. Pag tangal ng laspag na na foil, tada, underneath is a brand new car.

Yup. Isa yan sa purpose ng pag-foil. You get to retain your OEM paint na shiny.

There's one foil available dun, it's clear vinyl. So basically, your paint will remain as is, may "plastic cover" lang on top of it to avoid paint chips and the like. So kung iremove mo yun, good as new pintura.

Mahal prices ng Foil-a-car sa Fort. It scales according to the work done. I believe around 80k for a clear-foil body wrap, 150k sa mga normal color wraps and 250k upwards sa mga chrome-foils and other exotic wraps.

It has its own pros and cons, but personally, I believe the hurdle is the price. With a hundred grand, I could have 3 good quality "washovers" for my daily car. Unless you bought a truly exotic car where retaining the original paint color has its own economic benefits, foiling makes little sense for a daily driver.

Meron din mga foiling services that isn't as expensive as Foil-a-car.. for example Banawe has Autofoil which is distributed by a personal friend of mine (I 'could' always contact him if you'd like). Last time he tried "wooing" me, foiling my midsize sedan to matte white costs 70k or roughly half the price of Foil-a-car. Whether there is a discrepancy in quality.. that I got no idea. I doubt it naman eh since it all boils down to the wrapping and installation.

For clear vinyl foils, hell.. I'd rather invest in one of those Optimum Opticoats that adds a few clearcoats from the paint. This way, I'll have a car that looks like I have thoroughly waxed and maintained it for months to come. Then again, this might be because (a) I'm a cheapskate [says the person who plows his wallet into car audio] and/or (b) I like detailing.

Speaking of, meron na bang plastidip dito?

In US ginagamit yan ng mga car owners. You get to test ano itsura ng isang color sa car mo w/o ruining your original paint
