    just had one of my car's panels repainted. front fender. car is white using urethane paint. problem is noticeable siya. is there a way to solve this without going through a complete wash over? di maganda tignan car ko.

    well, if the shade difference is due to finishing (improper sanding, buffing, etc) then yes it can be cured.... but if the paint shade itself is incorrect, return it to the painter since it'll NEVER match if the color is wrong.

    i always used to have this problem with painting white - white is never pure white, there are always minute quantities of yellow, blue, and sometimes red and green to achieve a certain shade.

    is the new panel too 'bright' (whiter) than the rest of the car? that may be due to either an improper color match, as theveed says, but it could also be due to the rest of the car having weathered/faded paint. if so, you could either have the rest of the car detailed so the whole thing is bright and unfaded, or have the painter adjust their color match and repaint the panel.
