question po tungkol dito.. NSC then LLS then z2. pwede din ba pong NSC z2 LLS?
yes its the same, actually carlack is the base company and klasse is the rebranded one for the US market, i like klasse a little better because they come in larger sizes whereas carlack only has 500ml AFAIK, there are some people that say they are not affiliated but none so far have stated that they are not the same, and there's are a lot of true and credible information out there pointing that its the same company, and if you ask me its really the same

well either way it would be the same either LLS or Z2

Does sealant offer more protection than carnauba wax?

I'm currently choosing from the following sealants.

    Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 16oz - $40
    Optimum Opti-Seal 8oz - $24
    Zaino Z-2 PRO Show Car 8oz - $24

Can you rate which of the above gives you the best shine and protection.
any other brand with the same price range that you can recommend.

How does KSG / Carlack compare to these sealants.

*Ginnova, I saw this from http://www.detailingguide.com.au/200...-wax-overview/

"Carnauba Waxes are a great way to protect your vehicle against the elements. Carnauba waxes often offer stronger protection than sealants do, but will not last as long. Waxes typically last 3 to 12 weeks, where a sealant can last up to 12 months. Carnauba waxes often bead water better than sealants, which makes your vehicle easier to maintain. Carnauba waxes are what you want to use when you want the absolute wettest finish possible."

    * madkatz, what are your thoughts on this? So, compared to sealants, wax offers better protection against bird bombs, tree sap, water marks, and/or brake dust??? im confused

I would like to get the most effective and durable sealant or wax for my paint.

thanks watusi for the info. So i think putting both sealant + wax will
    give better protection.

Haha i know that link! but you shouldn't have reminded me of it, now im itching to buy those other stuffs i still don't have....

Actually at first i was surprised when i saw OPT Car Wax under the sealant department but when we talked to the CEO Dr. G he mentioned its actually a pure sealant with carnauba but mainly being a sealant thats very easy to layer on top of itself but thanks for sharing to everyone, now everyone can check out which part their waxes fall into, too bad this is only exclusive to AG products lines only but this is very much complete already.

all painted surfaces of the car

you could use a flashlight to check whether its wax residue or not, a QD wipedown ought to remove the suspicion of wax residue.

I totally agree with this statement, carnauba really does offer superior protection to natural contaminants like water marks, tree sap but not much on bird droppings and acid rain, although the bird dropping part varries, in most cases it does offer great protection against bird bombs but there are really some nasty bird bombs out there thats really gonna etch right through even though whatever sealant or wax you use. And yeah basically with the rest of the statement i agree with it

Only Zaino and Opti-seal last as long as KSG, Opti-seal not being that great in the looks department but still good but definitely the easiest to use among all 4 KSG included, Zaino and WGDGPS takes the lead in the looks department with Zaino giving that mirror shine and WGDGPS giving the warmth and depth, WGDGPS however falls a little bit behind in terms of durability, Zaino on the other hand costs about 2x the other products same as WGDPS, so basically

Opti-seal - ease of use, don't let the 8oz daunt you, this can give you over 40 cars

KSG - the favorite benchmark for sealants, great in all aspects but not the best

Zaino - as tough as KSG, but if you have a deep pocket this could really be great when used in conjunction with ZFX and layer about 3 to 5 times but what a way to go to go through about 1/4 of the bottle

WGDGPS - not as tough as KSG actually one of the weakest if among the 4 if you ask me but definitely a show winner based on our experience the warmth and depth it gives on darks is one of the best

Thanks again madam madkatz para sa walang sawa mo pag sagot sa aming mga tanong. So I guess , I'll settle for the locally available KSG then.
