    I'm based in L.A.

Will get KAIO as recommended. Say, my subject vehicle is new, do I still need KAIO as base for KSG or I can go straight to KSG?

    Guys,
Just would like to ask your opinions. I'm planning to do this procedure this weekend.

    1. Wash - Mother's Shampoo
    2. NanoGlos
    3. NanoGlos 2nd coat after 4 hours
    4. Collinite 915 after 8 hours
    5. Nano Sliq or OGE-if makakuha

Tama ba sequence ko for step 4 and 5?

    Thanks!

Right now, I have these items in my arsenal and I really want to achieve a showcar finish to our rides just like yours.
    1. Meguiar's Gold Class car shampoo
    2. Meguiar's Swirl X
    3. Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze
    4. Mothers clay bar kit
    5. Collinite 845, 476S and SS-126
    6. Optimum No Rinse wash and shine
    7. Optimum Instant Detailer and Gloss Enhancer
    8. Finish Kare 425
    9. Meguiar's UQW
    10. Several MF detailer towels and Lambwool washmitt

I've seen video tutorials over the net and I'm confident your experiences are more valuable on what I'm planning to do.
this is a very solid detailing kit... May I ask where you got your Optimum products and ung Klasse? naghahanap din kasi ako ng Klasse eh...

Anyway, if you are just starting out, I suggest you follow these steps:

    1. Wash
    2. Clay
    3. Wash (or just rinsing will do)
    4. Swirl removal via swirl X
    5. Seal with Klasse HGS (cure for 24 hours)
    6. Top with 476s (or 845 for ease of application)
    7. Boost with UQW
    8. Finish with OGE/ Finish Kare

After every wash, you may top with UQW and OGE first the gloss and prolong Collinite's protection... you may also do the same in between washes.

you may also want to bring a spray bottle of ONR cleaning QD (dilute ONR on a 1:16 solution) in your car for emergency treatments when you are away from home.

Also, you may swap step 5 with Sapphire Wax for Cleaning, instead of sealing, but id prefer sealing myself...

let's ask the gurus here kung ok lang to use both, Sapphire Wax THEN sealant, not sure if the sealant will bond with Sapphire.

enjoy Detailing! you've got one enviable detailing Kit there sir!

    mga idol...

is it ok to do a full detail on a newly painted car fresh out of the paint shop? or would I have to wait for the paint cure for a certain time?

I'm going to have my hood repainted to cover up the stone chips, my paint guy gave me a 24 hour lead time, meaning if i brought it to his shop today, I'll get it tomorrow... will I have to wait before I detail?

Let the paint cure or breathe first for at least 30days. You can put paint shop safe glaze like 3M IHG.

Yes, even new vehicles will be prone to accumulating dusts not to mention road grime and road film which is basically unavoidable, KAIO will be the one to clean these for you making sure the paint is in perfect condition to accept KSG and bond properly

Thanks madkatz for this valuable advice.

After KAIO and KSG, what will be the best wax or wax combi on my list?

I would say 476 because its a pure LSP without cleaner, 126 has some cleaner in it that might deteriorate the existing sealant a little

Wow you're based in the U.S. The weather there must be nice for your waxes to last a LOT longer compared to us here in Manila. Napakarumi dito biruin mo ang Collinite 476S can last a year in US weather while here siguro jackpot na maka 1 month plus.
