*salamat doc... but this one is my bro's... d ko kc to ma-details sa haus kc masyado mababa ung car at mataas ung garahe namin... eh never been touched by a detailer so I went and gave it a go
one thing i realized with silver cars, mahirap padumihin, mahirap din pakintabin...
mas-fullfilling tlga mag-detail ng black... or other dark colored cars...
^^^ experienced that with my sister's corolla too.
parang walang difference nung linagyan ko ng nanoglos+nanosliq.
hehe.
galing ko NLEX kanina. hay. panibagong stone chips![]()
Just got home from a tiring but fulfilling detailing session!
Many many thanks to sir Edwin sa pagturo about SwirlX at sir matt for the PC!

Hi po. Newbie here when it comes to detailing. Naghahanap kasi ako ng polishing machine na ROP. I saw this sa Hans Tools Shang and it costs 5.2K. Skil and brand. Ok po ba it?
http://www.skil.com.my/skil/l0/produ...p?gpid=11&pid=
I don't think this is an ROP (Random Orbital Polisher)... this is a Rotary/ Circular polisher... the difference is an ROP simulates the fast circular motion of your hand (thus, random orbit), while rotary spins on a central pivot.
Since you mentioned your a newbie... I would not recommend that you use a rotary on your car... Rotaries can burn paint when not used by a pro/experienced detailer..
If your budget is within the price you posted, and you want to get a machine locally/ over the counter, you may check out the B&D KP600 applicator for around 3k, or the Bosch Unano (forgot the model #) for around 5k...
The KP600 is great for applying wax but not for corrections...
the Bosch, on the other hand, has way too much power and a requires a little know how to use.
I'm planning to get the infamous PorterCable RO (best for amateur detailers) abroad, some time in December (or earlier, depending on the itch of my idol detailers here), with some guys here. We're thinking of getting one bulk order so we get to save on shipping... You may join the bandwagon if ever...
*watusi/ginnova/ SG ... kung gusto nyo mag-order ng mas-maaga sa December, let me know... so we can talk about the preferred mode of shipping... I thought December coz i know most of us is waiting for that bonus... but should you guys want it earlier, I can always sell my kidney!!!![]()
Guys kaya ba Megs Deep Crystal Paint cleaner to or swirlX na? Thanks...

One time charge lang. Kaya kung oorder kayo, gawin nyo by mid-November para dumating in time for Christmas.
I was checking out other local detailing threads and saw a newbie asking about QD application...
There was a suggestion, that after rinsing the car, before drying... to spray a thin layer of QD on the section you are about to dry, then wipe it dry.
Is this a good practice?
