Okay ba yung Black and Decker KP600? Masyado kasi mahal yung Porter Cable.
Kp600 is not bad if you ask me but after some time you will again "level-up" i bought mine and only used it a couple of times and after that i took the plunge with the PC and then later with the rotary, i guess bottomline is it depends on how much you will be able to buy the kp600, if its going near 4k then i would say its really not worth it anymore, why? for the price the only real thing you can do is apply waxes, you can't actually do any correction with kp600, actually my BF just texted a couple of guys last night who are interested in pre-ordering PC units, if all goes well a pc7424xp would only cost 7 to 7.5k but thats the unit only without the backing plate and pads and confirmation is till 24 only, so if the kp600 would be at around 4k then just get the pc unit with a backing plate from the local mothers distributor at 1.2k and you'll be set not only to wax but remove moderate to light defects as well, but thats just my 2cents, im not trying to advertise or anything since we basically won't even earn any cash from the arrangement because we're thinking of making it as a christmas perk for those loyal customers we had that bought some of our products but if you have a kp600 that you've spent around 4k for and its now sitting and collecting dust you would really advise people against it. another thing i noticed is that a lot of people that bought the kp600 eventually after a few months or years bought a PC, and a lot of the people who haven't bought a PC are seriously thinking of getting a PC, so my suggestion would be to wait a little longer and save a little more and just get the PC, in the last 6 months there's been like more than 5 people who were asking me if anyone wants to buy a kp600 since they bought a PC, i wouldn't suggest you go straight to a rotary either unless you have the time to dedicate to learn it, but if you do have time to learn rotary polishing i would also recommend this route since those polishers can go as low as 4 to 5k only. so if you ask me better invest of those machines that can really give you results, but my best recommendation would be to get a PC, you could get it anywhere from AG, from mothers but anyway you get it, its one machine that you will always use no matter how many times you "level up", even for us detailers that use rotary polishers we even sometimes resort to a PC for those delicate soft paints
