Question, Is it ok to use Megs Ultimate compound in replacement on Mothers step 1? i've noticed that Moms step 1 is more abrasive than megs UC. Together with that Megs UC gives the shine and cure for some defects. Followed by any wax as step 3. I think it is ok not to use step 2 since the shine coming from the Megs UC is enogh and using step 2 will no loger do dramatic effect on the paint. Like Megs UC the NXT 2.0 every week?

Any advice?

Megs UC is definitely more abrasive than mother's step 1. Using it weekly will badly affect your clearcoat, as our gurus say.

UC is very aggressive compared to moms step 1. UC should only be used to remove heavy defects.
