XPress Auto Detailers along Esteban Abada
Dumaan ako dito siguro mga three weeks ago ta's may nakita akong GTR at mga dalawang BMW na hinuhugasan so I said to myself, they must be good. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
Time na for carwash yung kotse ko today so I headed there since wala naman traffic. Nung dumating ako, puno.. so my instinct again told me na "go! maganda yan kasi puno siguro magaling" so I waited for a short while (5 mins lang) then this particular BMW left so I took his spot. My first question is, how much carwash + vaccum, P90 daw. Ok lang, so go...
Then the job had begun. Una, tinanggal carpets ko.. good. Then binasa na yung kotse ng pressure washer, normal... tapos nilagyan na ng sabon... ok. Then they rubbed the soap to the body and this is where they start failing, walang ka-effort effort yung pagsabon. Dinaanan lang ng foam na parang panghugas sa plato tapos na! Pati sa mags, wala.. dinaanan lang once, walang kaeffort effort linisin. Wala pa 5 mins kiniskis yun buong sasakyan binanlawan na. Until this moment, I kept my mouth shut.
Nung binanlawan na ng tubig, di pa tapos yung kalahati may nagpupunas na! This is the time I reached my OC point and started talking, hinde pa nga tapos banlawan pupunasan na. Hinde man lang tinataas yun wiper at may portions sa harap na may sabon pa! So the guy that was supposed to wipe my car backed off and waited for the guy who was blowing water on the car to finish. Nung "tapos" na siya, the wheel wells still had soap on them, the lower grille still had soap on them, the wipers were still untouched and the side mirrors, again, had soap on them! Tinaas ko wiper then explained to them what I wanted (hinde linis balbon) and pointed the portions where there was soap. So dinaanan ulit.
Then the wiping begun, cut the story short, ayun... meron pa rin portions na basang basa pa hinde man lang dinaanan ng basahan tapos na raw.
The whole process was done in 15 minutes, 20 max. Didn't even reach half an hour.
Paid the cashier P90 then left, I didn't bother to give tip kasi walang kwenta trabaho. I don't know if what I was asking is too much kasi OC talaga ako pagdating sa nagcacarwash or talagang balbon trabaho nila. It seemed kasi na nagmamadali sila so they could accommodate more. Oh well, not going back there definitely. Hanap ulit ng ok na carwash around QC (bigberts, zerostain.. ang lalayo kasi)

December 22nd, 2012 11:01 AM #6Have you tried Drive Bright, near Capitol Hills? Really good service - proper two-bucket wash technique, microfiber towels, etc. It's owned by a fellow car and detailing enthusiast, and is one of the few places (and first one on that list) that I would consider bringing my car to if I couldn't wash it myself.

Yes, because 100 degree boiling point is measured at sea level. What's interesting also is that...
