I just acquired 1996 VITARA a week ago and it might sound too soon for me to fix it the way i want it . many replies i got beforehand that i lift ko ng konti at palitan ang gulong para odd road look , well heto ang mga naisip ko . Engine remains stock with the exception of hoses for comsmetics . Any tsikot member with pics or links sa 1995 - 96 Vitara 5 doors , help me out . Salamat .

IMHO don't lift it with 19's...it looks really dumb unless you are seriously lifting it and putting off-road tires...actually on second thought that would still look dumb on such a small SUV. I would actually drop it a little bit to get that 'pimpin' look but that's just my opinion.

July 15th, 2003 12:16 PM #6yup fit siya , tropa ko na nandito sa cali ang ginaya ko kaya nagpaflare siya para kasya , same thing sa gagawain in mind . Yun nga lang ay 18 X 10 sa kanya at 19 X 10 sa akin . Same set up different color lang . Pipilitin ko maka post ng pics ng Vitara niya . Other than that paint,wheel n tire combo ay stock lahat .

July 21st, 2003 07:53 PM #7Using my 235/75R15 tires, I even had to do some bumper trimming inspite of the fact that I have a 3 inch suspension lift already. I tried a 15x8in a month ago and the tire scrapes my tire wells.
How much more kaya kung 19x10inch?

July 22nd, 2003 02:04 AM #8Not until it is resting nga in its widebody form . Saw it here in San Diego from one of my boys ride and got the idea . Actually the exact size of rims , No problem at all but the problem is the lowering suspension im gonna install kasi nasa Pilipinas ang Vitara and dont know if it has the same components .

September 2nd, 2003 02:17 PM #16Just uploaded the Vitara pics of my wife , she ended up getting the 1.6 4X4 instead of the 2.0 V6 , a lot of comments Ive got from the JDM Vitara's that got converted wasnt to my safety standards , so far super stock siya except for the new white paint job .
