Clay bar...help

How do you store clay bar after using.....will you soak it in the solution that comes with it or just wrap it in a dry plastic bag/container? Thanks and more power to tsikot.com!!!!

How long does a clay bar last. how will you know when to replace it?

depends on how you use it... kung madumi/gritty throw away...

I bought red clay magic from AutoMagic. It says Medium grade. When I used it on my black X-trail, I noticed that there are light scratches. I immediately stopped using it and buffed it with a step 1 polishing paste. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? I used an Automagic lubricant. Did I bought the wrong clay?

zeagle: masyado atang abrasive... try to use another lubricant, am currently using Eagle 1 QD + mothers claybar (Yellow).

Sa True Value Rockwell. May kasamang cleaner wax and quick detailer. ang lumalabas mga 1100 petot. Walang akong makitang clay bar lang.

bakit ang mahal ng clay magic, 2000 pesoes? mothers 1000+ lang may kasama na QD and wax.

1) Soft99 clay bars are good too- yun nga lang medyo matigas minsan. medyo hindi pliable...(mga 500-600 pesos ata)
2) Mother's Clay bar- currently using it. (yikes.. P 1K +)

cablespy: If your on a budget go for the soft99 claybars. Don't buy the green one's medyo mahina kumapit. Get the white/light colored ones pag matagis babad mo lang sa warm water oks na yan

Vince (Zeagle): Bat nila binenta red? Magaspang talaga yung pula pre... And it requires a lot of lube... Dapat yung blue.

MEGA overpriced ang benta sa TS... Grabe talaga... $15 lang dapat with lube ang CM Blue... Red di nga binebenta sa shelves sa US masyado...

If I were you guys, stick to Mothers, you can get a bar only for around P700 bucks (we can make group orders if you wish, pero minimum of 3 per order)...

Nung TS, Renault (yung guy na may hawak sa Mothers) sells the bar only for around P700.

Soft99 kasi tsambahan na, the ones left right now (if there are still sa Concorde, nawala mga Soft99 stuff sa Mega), sometimes are close to useless, ginastusan mo din yun.
