If sun and rain lang ang problema mo, then regular waxing should do the trick.
Also, since you only plan to apply the sticker/film on the hood and roof, you'll still need to wash and wax the doors, fenders and bumpers. So might as well include the roof and hood doon sa maintenance regimen mo.

On the other hand, benefits I could think of with the sticker/film solution are:
- 100% protection vs. bird poo and tree sap. Those are nasty and would eat through wax and sealants if not washed off asap.
- protection against minor stone chips?

I'd say go for plastidip pwede pa DIY and no worries sa mga overspray dahil pede tanggalin gamit basahan lang. May enjoy factor pa dahil ikaw mismo gagawa.

try mo olx bro, marami ako nakikita nagbebenta dun. not sure kung may local distributor na ba dito. sa Concorde at Blade meron pero ibang brand but same idea.
