June 24th, 2015 08:10 PM #11Nagpalagay ako nito dati sa Mazda 3 ko. CF sa hood, roof and trunk then matte black sa sides. I knew at that time na baka sabihing ricey. Pero wala akong pakialam. Intention ko nun for maintenance. Matipid kasi. No need for regular waxing. Hugas-punas lang. Malaki ang natipid ko. Then wala pang stress kahit may gasgas kasi alam mo na sticker lang yun. OC pa naman ako when it comes to my car. I got complimented about it naman. Tinginin ang kotse. Now that I have the new M3 I'm also planning to have it covered again for the same reasons.
Bottomline: Do what you want. Kotse mo yan. Don't listen to what other people tell you. Di naman sila ang gagastos.

June 24th, 2015 11:13 PM #12I like the clear vinyl sticker idea.

Just this afternoon i saw a T86 with a carbon fiber sticker hood and trunk. Nyeta how ricey can one get!? The car already speaks for itself without anything added to it. Would you do that to a prosche or ferrari? Definitely not! So why would one do it to a T86? Because it's "just" a toyota ang you need to make it look what?

Plastidip might be a cheaper and better looking alternative than CF stickers. Not sure about the pricing but saw a sedan once with a matte plastidip allaround coat and it looked really ***y.
What's with the CF stickers and ricer comments? TS' idea of using CF stickers as paint protection makes more sense to me than say, having really dark tint on your windshield then installing HIDs / ledbars because you can't see at night lol

June 25th, 2015 12:53 AM #16Boss wag ka ng magpalagay ng CF sticker, maganda lang sa umpisa, but later on it will wear and tear, ang sakit sa mata, ganyan nangyari sa R33 ko ng nilagyan ko ng CF sticker yung wing.
