question mga peeps. i was in the market for a wax for my ride. any suggestion or advice what should i get? i was thinking about getting the meguiar's new car glaze. ok kaya yun? kasi i already have my ride's paint job treated with a sealant, im thinking applying wax to add some protection. what can you suggest? thanks!

    Mother's Phase 3 carnauba wax
    Soft 99
    Meg 26
    P21S/S100

    Glazes dont offer any protection.

    promdiboy,
eksakli. Pakshak MF towels 16x16 size. Green. I was able to use just 1 fold for buffing off wax from my whole car.

the differences of waxes are quite marginal, especially without proper paint prepping, if the paint isn't properly restored back to its gloss, no wax will make a "dramatic" difference to warrant its claims.

Sir, this pertains to the shine, right?.. but the protection quality remains the same even if without prep?

additional question: what's the advantage of a "CARNAUBA" wax?

RDL4D56: Not really, a well prepped surface will be free of contaminants and the surface itself will be smoother, therefore your wax will adhere and harden more evenly resulting to better longevity and gloss. If you wax over a surface with contaminants, you're waxing the contaminant, not the paint.
