kung sagad na and lampas na sa primer, then panel/bumper repainting na yan... di din maaayos sa touch up paint yan since kailangan i prime muna.... otherwise, it will be a source of rust.

May 13th, 2015 11:26 PM #13Kung konti lang scratches and in a small, tight area, then ang pagnipis ng clear coat is not really a worry (lalo na kung bago pa auto mo). Depende din sa lalim ng scratch-kung hairline lang, try meguiar's ultimate polish (tried this on our silver adventure and the thin, hairline scratches disappeared. I was surprised myself). Pero kung malalim na scratches, then you can try rubbing compound. dont press too hard at first and work in circular motions until the scratches disappear.again, kung bago naman auto mo pre, then dont worry about thinning the clear coat. (thanks red_one for giving this advice many months back).I hope this helps.

January 19th, 2016 11:48 AM #15^ Di na kaya ng DIY yan sir. Malalim.
Repaint talaga yan isang panel. Pinaka mababa na siguro yung 1k diyan if mabait at ok mag price. Pero tingin ko price diyan 2k hangang 3k.

January 19th, 2016 01:31 PM #17Common 2 days yan. Yes need mo iwan sir.
E liliha yan. Then masilya. Then primer. then paint ng ilang patong. Tas papa kintabin. Almost buong panel ng unahan ang gagawin. Para pantay ang kulay. Di halata ang damage..

January 19th, 2016 01:47 PM #18Pangit yan kung hindi buong panel ang e papaint. Yung tipong touch up lang pagka dali.

it also eliminates the thought na mabababoy ang oto mo pag iniwan mo ng buo.
the only downside is baka hindi magpantay ang kulay.
