    hi all
I remember reading that newly painted cars need at least 90 days before any wax is applied to allow the paint to oxidize.
Does this apply for car covers too? How long should i wait before its safe to cover up the car?

    thanks in advance

as much as possible, try to avoid muna putting car covers. magkakaroon ng mga scratches yung oto mo.

i'll choose the lesser evil na lang, for me it's better to use a car cover (elevo-waterproof, scratch resistant) versus the tree saps, bird poo, acid rain, tiny branches na nahuhulog sa kotse ko everyday. If i don't cover it, the following day kelangan na i car wash ulit. kakapagod kasi black pa naman.

how much would that elevo cost?

guys back to the topic, newly painted car to ha hehehe would a car cover ruin the paint by hindering oxidation/drying? just want to be sure before i throw one on, mas ok na ang ebs ng butiki kesa bula or mapa

happy, how long would you wait til you put a cover on?

sa amin dito hindi elevo ang brand, taiwan made na waterproof car cover lang nakalagay. to give you guys an idea sa price, a sedan size cover costs approx. 1.5-1.6k, auv/suv size halos 2k na while the most expensive for vans 2.4k.

ganun din ata.... 1.4k-1.6k for a sedan.
i would go by randyrivera's opinion that i would go for the lesser of evils.
kung nakapark ka naman sa ilalim ng puno and puro dagta ang kotse mo everyday, i think putting a car cover is better than nothing.
