I find the California Car Duster very expensive and hard to come by. Is there a cheaper, widely available substitute?

Will common synthetic dusters do the job? How about the feather dusters?

sige thanks, i-PM ko na lang si the_veed kung meron pa silang duster.

Another question, yung microfiber towel(jml) ba pwedeng pang alis ng dust o makakagasgas to ng pintura?

wala na po kaming cali, ubos na kay chieffy eh... hehe

dusting should NEVER be done with a towel. Lalo na JML manipis.

    ttt

will visit valugard. is the california duster non abrasive talaga? or meron pa rin? I have a black car a color which I'd stay away from na next time.

eh pag feather duster? ok lang kaya? kasi, kahit nasa underground garage yung car ko (sa condo), puro alikabok pa rin kasi ung mga janitors, pag nagwalis, daig pa ang sandstorm. I don't know where the dust is coming from pero sobra sobra talaga. minsan, kahit kakacarwash mo lang... maya maya, alikabok na agad!

bad_driver: Its not 100% non abrasive, nothing is. But compared to a feather duster, its worlds apart. Feather duster "pushes" dust around hence scratching the surface, cali duster works on the principle of kenetic energy in which the dust "sticks" to its parafine coated strands hence less micromarring.
